Emile Thuiszorg: Wijkinitiatievenoverzicht
I made an interactive database of neighbourhood resources for Emile Thuiszorg, an organisation that employs students for home care.
The purpose of this database is to provide caregivers and clients with an easy overview of neighbourhood resources within the client's vicinity. The database uses the 'Positive Health' tool to index a client's possible needs. Each neighbourhood includes the ability to filter for a specific need of the client, making it easier to find the right resources.
This project makes extensive use of Adobe Indesign's interactive HTML publishing tools. The database is embedded, so can be used from this website as well.
Emile Thuiszorg: Career/organisational chart (2024)
For Emile Thuiszorg, an organisation that employs students for home care, I was tasked to design a chart that visualizes growth opportunities for employers within the organisation.
To stimulate participation and to organise a lot of information in one place, I made the chart interactive. The chart is embedded, so it's also usable on this website!
Schrödinger's Bier: beer label design (2023)
For a friend's micro brewery, I designed the beer label and helped visualise the brand story of Schödinger's Bier.
With the experimental character of Schrödinger's Bier, it's never certain whether the beer inside the bottle will taste great or awful. This mirrors the thought experiment of Schrödinger's cat in which a cat is trapped inside a radioactive box. The theory of quantum physics dictates that when the box (bottle) is closed, the cat (beer) is simultaneously dead (disgusting) and alive (delicious). Only opening the box will reveil reality.
The design is heavily inspired by gamma radiation waves with a hint of Vienna Secession, a graphic design style popular in Schödinger's country during his age.
