Minor: The Art of Reproducing
The essence of the minor 'The Art of Reproducing' was to design a new product each week with a different mass production method. In this short timespan we had to design a realistic mass-producable product complete with research on cost price, batch size estimate, branding, target audience and assembly times on two occasions.
Furthermore this minor taught us about many different production methods like wireforming, lost wax casting, sand casting and different techniques within injection molding.
Our design agency brand
Our team had to come up with a brand for our fictional design agency. I was responsible for designing the logo and graphical aspects.

Final product
For the final product we were given more time (around 6 weeks), ' Leifheit' as a set brand and free choice as to what kind of product we could design. This resulted in this design for an injection molded tabletop ventilator inspired by the 60s plastic design which Leifheit pioneered.
A fully functioning model was created using 3D printing techniques.
